*General Continuing Education (CE) Questions

  • To obtain Continuing Education (CE) credits for our courses, follow these steps:

    1. Attend Live Classes: You must attend all live sessions of the course in full, as mandated by licensing boards. Attendance will be taken and we cannot make any exceptions.If you don’t attend in full you are not able to obtain credits. This is not our rule but we have to enforce it to stay eligible as a Continuing Education (CE) provider.

    2. Await an email within 1-7 days following the Course end. This email will normally contain a feedback request for the course with directions of how to apply and pay for your Continuing Education (CE) credits. Please check your junk items or other folders within your inbox as they can fall into these folders. (There is a deadline on this email so please take note).

    3. Purchase the Certificate: Follow the instructions in the email to complete the purchase. Note that obtaining the certificate is optional and typically required for licensed therapists or counsellors in certain parts of the world. Please note you should only pay for obtaining your Continuing Education (CE’s) credits if you think you have attended all sessions. 



    4. Wait: Once you have submitted the Continuing Education (CE) form and paid you should receive an email with 21 days which awards your Continuing Education (CE) credits if you are eligible.

    **If you do not receive the email within a week of the course ending, ensure you’ve met all attendance requirements and contact us at support@terryreal.com for assistance.

    **Please note, there is always a deadline for obtaining your Continuing Education (CE) credits and this is normally a month after the course. We cannot process any late requests. "


  • Can you check my attendance to make sure I qualify for Continuing Education (CE) credits?  If you do not receive an email with the link to purchase credits within 1-7 business days of a course completing please reach out to us at support@terryreal.com

  • I missed some of the classes/a portion of the class, will I still get my credit hours? Unfortunately no. This is a mandate given to us by licensing boards that require full attendance.

  • My course has finished. How do I apply for my credit hours? After your course is completed, within 1-7 business days, we will send you an email with further directions on how to purchase the credit hours. Please check your spam folder and reach out to us at support@terryreal.com, if you do not receive this email within one week of the course ending. Please note, you must be present for all live classes. If you do not get an email from us, it may be that you have not been present for each live class.

    Satisfactory Completion Participants must have paid tuition fee, attended the entire course, and completed an evaluation to receive a certificate. Failure to complete any of the course will result in forfeiture of credit for the entire course. No exceptions will be made. Attendance will be taken during live courses.


  • I didn't get an email to apply for my Continuing Education (CE) credits.  After your course is completed, within 1-7 business days, we will send you an email with further directions on how to purchase the credits. Please check your spam folder and reach out to us at support@terryreal.com, if you do not receive this email within one week of the course ending. Please note, you must be present for all live classes. If you do not get an email from us, it may be that you have not been present for each live class.  Satisfactory Completion Participants must have paid tuition fee, attended the entire course, and completed an evaluation to receive a certificate.   • I paid for Continuing Education credits (CEs) but have not received them? If you have paid for, but not received your Continuing Education (CE) credits, please make sure you have waited 21 days. It takes us on average 3 weeks to get these all processed and send out your Continuing Education credits. If it has been 21 days, Please check your spam folder and all email filters.

    If you still cannot find the email, please reach out to us at support@terryreal.com  with your full name and the email address associated with your account, and we will assist you further.

    Note that full attendance and completion of all course requirements are necessary to qualify for Continuing Education Credit's.


  • Do I have to attend live in order to obtain the credits? Yes, it is the policy of licensing boards that those looking to obtain Continuing Education (CE) credits must attend the courses live and in FULL. This is not our rule but we have to enforce it to stay eligible as a Continuing Education provider.

  • Can prior RLT trainings without Continuing Education credits (CE's) count toward Certification? Prior trainings may be recognized for Certification, even if continuing credit hours were not received. Certification expectations differ for coaches and therapists. Students should discuss their specific background with our team for guidance.

  • Does attending live on Zoom with my camera off count for attendance? Yes. You may keep your camera off during the live Zoom training. Attendance is based on you being present for the full duration of the training, not on camera status.

    What we ask so we can verify attendance:

    -Be present for the entire session(s).

    -Use the same email to loging that you registered with on zoom (so we can match you to registration).

    -Stay connected (avoid extended drop-offs).

    Note: If you’re seeking Continuing Education (CE) credits, boards require full, live attendance. Camera can remain off, but you must meet all attendance checks and timing requirements.
